Great protection in chest area. Baought it for my 10 year old daughter for pitching and third base. Never complained once about wearing it for safety. I think it is a bit snug under arms so make sure get 1 size bigger than necessary. It takes a beating in the washing machine and no signs of wear so far from frequent washes and wearing.

I bought this for my son, who is 9 and plays in league with 12 year olds. This shirt gives my son a little extra protection and me a little peace of mind. He doesn't mind wearing it and you can't tell he has it on. Great product-
