Oakley 60% Grey Eye Shield
Using HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS technology, Oakley football eyeshields eliminate the distortion found in the industrys first-generation polycarbonate visors. Oakley uses PLUTONITE, a proprietary synthetic that sets a new standard for durability. Whether it's helmet-to-helmet collision, eye gouging or wind blow debris, PLUTONITE offers the highest level of protection. But it's not just the material that makes Oakley shields better. It's the geometry.
Oakley uses injection molding to shape PLUTONITE with unique curvature. The contours are designed with CAD/CAM engineering to maintain clarity at all angles of vision, even at the sides, so peripheral view is optimized. PLUTONITE inherently blocks 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light up to 400nm. That means even clear Oakley shields filter out all the bad rays. Package contains 1 Oakley Football Shield Single 60% Grey, 1 Hardware kit for attaching to helmet, 1 shield decal set (assorted colors to match helmet/facemask color).

In all my research of these shields I found this one to be the best quality and the price was far less than I expected to pay. It is of a thick material, no distortion, and legal in High School team competitions. I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a shield that cuts the sun light directly on the eyes. My son said it's like wearing sunglasses. He gets migrains from the sun and since wearing this shield he hasn't gotten any. Excellent product, excellent price.
