This is the first set of shoulder pads we purchased for our 5yr old twin boys. The pads are of great quality for what these boys will use them for, as when playing in the yard. They are quite durable and look very nice as well as offer protection. I bought this as a gift for my son for Christmas. He actually caught me pulling it out of the box, and began screaming in excitement. Sad sad story!! Anyhow, the pads look great. I think they are perfect for him. He doesn't play in a league, but he loves to play for fun. The product is well worth the price. It was delivered in a timely manner also.

My son plays both running back & linebacker and the pads were perfect for both. With the lower back pad he had great protection.

It it easy to lower your shoulder and take someone out. Some arm movement are somewhat restricted. Some plates may not fit.

This is my sons fourth year in youth football and his second set of these pads. He has a very short neck so most pads have an arc that is too high to allow the shoulder pads and helmets to work well with each other except these. They are perfect. Theyhold up very well, in fact we would have still been wearing the original ones had he not grown out of them. [...] I love this company.
