If you decide to buy a TDY leather ball, take the time to feel every ball available and get the one with the roughest grain leather. This ball can get slippery when is smooths out. Since we have the option of using the TDY or TDJ, either leather or composite, I've relegated my leather TDY to ball security and pass catching drills. If they can hold on to this ball running the gauntlet they can hold the TDJ composite on game day.I would not recommend spending more than [$] for this football.
