The Team Express San Antonio Custom Shop redefines quality when it comes to athletic printing. We boast an 138,000 sq. ft. facility fully equipped to screen print a variety of garments. Our SA Custom Shop puts a lot of effort and energy into every imprinted and embroidered garment to ensure a quality item. Our hard-working staff of printers is backed with several years of experience in the garment embellishment industry.
If being industry leaders in the customization of athletic apparel weren't enough, we also print high-end design graphics on tee's in mass quantities. Our SA Custom Shop offers a variety of specialty printing including simulated process printing, high density, 4 color process, discharge printing, and much more. We have screen printing and embroidery processes that deliver industry leading turnaround for customized athletic uniforms, apparel, and accessories. Most orders for customized merchandise are completed and shipped within 2 weeks from customer art approvals. Our SA Custom Shop is strategically located near the UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS staging areas to provide our customers with the fastest turn-around possible.
The Screen Printing Process:
The in-house custom art department creates a design to your specifications. Once the artwork is approved our artists separate the colors and print them each onto transparent film positives. The film positives are then placed against the light sensitive emulsion applied to our silk screens and exposed or "burned" to create a printable stencil. An experienced printer then sets the screens up on a printing press and prints the garments according to the artwork specifications using a variety of textile inks. The ink is cured on the garment using a conveyer oven. All printed garments then go through a quality control process to ensure that they meet the Team Express high level of quality standards. As you can see we take a great deal of pride in our facility and guarantee all of the products that we produce.
The Embroidery Process:
The In-house embroidery digitizer creates art via the customer's specifications. Once the artwork is approved the digitizer sends the digitized graphic to our very own embroidery department. It is here that our embroidery specialist sets the machines to sew the garment by threading the specified colors and hooping the garment so it can be attached to the embroidery machines. Once the product is attached to the machine the design can then be sewn into it. Our embroidery department can accommodate both very small and very large quantities of product.
The Custom Art Department:
The SA Custom Shop's in-house art department will work with you to build a concept from scratch or to develop one that is provided. Our artists collaborate with our clients through an approval process until the design reaches an approval. Utilizing state of the art graphics software, high-end computers, color matching systems, and tools our artists strive to ensure the highest quality graphic design services. Whether you are looking for basic font layout or complex multi-colored imagery our artists are skilled in their environment and know how to translate the customer's ideas to our print department with superior results.
